Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you. The caller had a very thick south Asian accent and claimed to be from "my network" - I didn't catch which one - and that I could benefit from an "offer". I cut the call and blocked the number.

Spam/Phishing for information call: Caller claimed to be from Sky checking the renewal of services on my contract then asked me if I had any problems with my Sky equipment. I do not have any contract with Sky and no equipment, so I asked which equipment she was referring to at which point she ended the call.

SCAM Insurance scam... tell them about your accident and they will get extra money for you from the third party insurance... Pushy and called from two different numbers... I hung up on first and they called from different location. Claim they are registered, but the compnay was dissolved in 2021, could not provdie website or further ifformation about when they compnay was set up.
