It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.

The person who uses this telephone number is responsible for causing a great deal of cruelty, malice, and vitriol. They have repeatedly targeted and preyed upon extremely vulnerable individuals by taking advantage of their emotional proclivities, insecurities, and mental and/or physical difficulties. This person has used language that is extremely manipulative, insidious, and callous in order to repeatedly bully and victimize vulnerable people. They have used a variety of harmful techniques to cause upset.
Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references. Obvious phishing exercise. Fraud

This number called me at approx 11.27 am. Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. I would describe the noise as though he was calling me from a very busy PUB. I told the caller this and hung up. No attempt was made to call me back. SCAM
Fraud Man rang from this number pretending to be from my locality not Manchester, checking to see if I was at home. Suspect part of a burglary gang.

Trying to steal my bank information
SCAM I recognised the 01296 as a scam number and said I blocking that number, the line went dead. I blocked the number.
Said they were Visa Fraud dept, and that £800 was scheduled to go to a gambling site in USA. No mention of which bank account or card number.
Said was from housing repair and I had reported a problem to to them. I did not.

Someone just called from this no. claiming to be from Amazon. They were female with a strong Indian accent. Said someone had tried purchasing a Canon camera on my account last night in Germany. 2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..
