SCAM This is yet another number used in the “extremely time sensitive” fake HMRC scam. Hysterical, really. This is my 4th received call, picked up by ansaphone. Same female voice, but this time stating the caller’s identity as “Dennis Grey”. They’ve used different numbers to call from before, this is the first time they’ve used this number. HMRC SCAM, DO NOT RESPOND.

Just had one of the calls mentioned above. I hung up but curiosity got the better of me so I called the number which went straight into a recorded message so obviously not a government office. I agree it's a scam and could be very worrying for elderly or vulnerable people.

This caller was extremely aggressive on the phone, I had trouble understanding him. He wanted to confirm the details of our address and told us we had been overpaying for our electricity.
