I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. Aparantly a Manchester number who phoned and left no message. On phoning back number permanently engaged. Probably cold-calling others.
The person that called was an electronic message advising that an Amazon PRIME payment would be taken and asked me to connect with them to discuss. This I did not do and just hung up as I am NOT an Amazon prime member. I then placed this on my caller bared list using 1572. I rang the the numer and BT advised that the number was not recognised after I had entered 012551470. This phone number MUST be a phising type number.
