Guy named "Adrian" texted me about an Job Ad, he send me that number, told me to call from Home Landline. Using my mobile, it charged me £2 straight away. This is a SCAM so please watch out and ignore the number

I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.

said he was from Virgin Media, but sounded suspect. Asked for security question, but I didn t give it.

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)
