We told the caller that we were not interested and he got very very aggressive , and refused to delete my wifes details from their database After this I did some digging and found out the caller is actually calling from a company called Webhelp TSC. Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. Worrying.

Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.
