Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Have been getting calls from this number for 2 weeks. First time I answered automated voice said press any key to be connected to an advisor- have not answered calls from this number since. Found out they are debt collection agency, I work for one of the big four high street banks and have no outstanding debts, furthermore, I have never had any debts. Don t know how this company got my number but I wish they would stop ringing me!!
Spoofed number. This number is used by a company claiming to be from a personal claims insurer. It's not their real number - this number is displayed when they call so you think it's local/someone you know. (01480 is local to me.) They are VERY pushy and have refused to take me off their calling list.

Said his company was called Essential which is not one of our suppliers, so admin screened the call, got rid of him and then we looked up the number to check if it was legitimate and found it wasn t. So we didn t call him back to find out what his pitch or spiel might be.
