From NI, received call 10 minutes ago from an aggressive female asking why my number was in her boyfriends phone. I was confused as the caller ID showed the caller was from Camberely (never been) and that I am 15 and don t know a lot of strangers from England. The voice sounded robotic so ofc I figured out it was fake.

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. It is a scam and we did transfer money but stopped order..all the amounts are for just over 2k paid into our account and we transferred just under 2k back into their bank. you ll see the money go into your account then they re desperate for you to pay the overpaid balance, they then cancel the dodgy cheaque within 2 days...Don t do it, the tel number is bogus and so is the address...

No it isn t German. This is an NHS diabetes prevention service. 0333 numbers are UK Lo-Call ie cost the same to phone whether local or long distance.

I misses this call as my phone was off but a quick Internet search told me this was an Indian scam call centre pretending to be in London, with an outside London area code. This number can be purchased for roughly ?3. Do not answer it is a scam.
