kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID

Very difficult to hear them, because of background noise. Claimed to be from Orange Broadband but that has been re-branded as EE. Also used my wife s name, instead of mine, and she s not an Orange/EE customer. Told them I could hardly hear them. They said they d call again soon with a different headset. Don t trust them. Did not sound legit.

Didn't ask me anything dodgy (e.g. Pin/ card details) but did ask me three security questions e.g. "press 1 if this is (name)" and then asked to confirm a payment I'd made an hour ago "press 2 if you do not recognise the transaction on (date) for (amount) paid to (payee reference)."

Received a text message from this number claiming to be Barclaycard and my account was charged ?800 to call immediately. It is not Barclaycard I called and for less than a minute got charged ?1.77 it?s a scam. Called Barclaycard fraud and my account is finedo not call this number back you hold on sounds like you are in a queue but no one is there.
This number has been phonin me everyday for the past month tryin to get me to sobscribe to magazines for a trial. They make it very hard to cancel the subscription after the trial period so u end up with mahazines u dont realy want.

Claiming that you are entitled to a £1500 refund per person on an all inclusive holiday from ABTA due to levels of cleanliness being below the standard required. Had all the hallmarks of Santander security text/call. I hit the number highlighted and got through to a call centre. Operator went through all security questions but started to ask for all the numbers on my Debit card. Thought this was 'fishy?' Hung up and then went onto Santander website and contacted the fraud dept. They confirmed that there had been several attempts on my account to obtain funds.
