After a significant delay (always suspicious), "Hi, this is Matthew. I'm calling about the government scheme for insulation, which you had installed in your loft." As soon as I said "Oh, no you're not" because we have no loft and have not had any insulation of any description installed for more than 10 years, he immediately hung up.

SCAM / SPAM this number texted me pretending to be from paypal telling me about unusual activity on my account and asking me to follow a link to make it right, instead I just logged into my paypal and discovered that the phone number they texted me on wasnt even linked to my PayPal account. SPAM. Nigel Frank recruitment these folk call your mobile usually during work meeting times (9-10) and think it's acceptable to keep your phone ringing for 30sec. Knowing you've probably muted the call with the intention of putting your phone to silent when they eventually abandon the call they'll immediately radial so you cant do this, to annoy you again, which is a bit controlling. Despite telling them you've started a new job, they continue to pester you every month.

I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.
