The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Text received from this number stating suspicious activity on my Paypal account and that they had suspended my account to prevent any fraudulent activity and to follow a link to lift the block. Clearly an attempt to get access to the Paypal account as i dont use it.
