Asian sounding company keep phoning saying they are doing marketing, then proceed to ask a string of questions about age, marital status, life insurance, phone provider, IT provider, TV package provider. I kept saying I didn t want any more phone calls and where this information was going, he kept ignoring me and asking the same questions saying they would not contact again but wouldn t say that they would not pass the information on to other parties. I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. Asked for me by name and claimed to be from Hear to Help. They asked if anyone had ever worked in a noisy environment. I asked where they got my number from and they said The British Data Company. This is what I ve been told in the past when I ve had the same type of phone call from The Hearing Clinic. I told them I was on the TPS and they said it was their first time calling me. I refused to answer their questions and they hung up.

On checking with O2 the above number and caller WAS a genuine call from O2. Apologies O2.

About life insurance, says it s not a sales call but I m sure it will be.
