So if you bought something somewhere online that required your number chances are you inadvertently opted in. They use a network of local numbers to seem reputable. The liverpool branch specialises in road traffic accident. They ll fish about for details asking you that they were informed a car accident was reported by your household within the last 2.5-3 years. This number, and a few others like it, have been calling me at random hours of the night, and play an automated message claiming to be from paypal, and telling me that there is an urgent security issue, and I need to verify my account details. It s clearly not from paypal, and is a way of scamming people.
