SCAM Informed me by recorded message, my bank account had two possible withdrawals. put phone down, contacted bank direct after a few minutes, they checked, no such withdrawals or any fraud concerns recorded. must be a scam to get your account details. STD code was hull, 01482, but these days could be anywhere.
Rang today when answered they hung up thank god for mrnumber i have now blocked this caller

I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. Fraud They claim to be HMRC and you will be prosecuted if you don't return the call. The language gets quite amateurish towards the end of the message. It is obviously a fraud as I have a self-assessment online account with HMRC and any messages they want to send me are processed through that account. Not sure what the scam is but just ignore it.

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. Rude woman, pushy wouldn t state purpose trying to get you to confirm who you are and would not provide info on who she was or why calling. Tries to beat you in to giving info by repeatidly asking who you are. Do not trust this call - she only said Next stop but refused to provide what type of company
