SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again. I said "I just spoke to you guys and you said you'd email us" then hung up o him. nuisance callers!

Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. I rang the number back using 141 to hide my number. When the person finally answered it sounded like a work place in the background. it sounded like they were on hands free/speaker and I heard a man say "get off the phone" in a disgruntled voice and then he ended the call. Don't know what they wanted but it's annoying to get calls like this. I've now blocked the number.

This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.
