I’ve just received all call from this number, claiming to have been given permission by my life insurers to contact me. I asked him who I was with and he read out about different company’s and was extremely rude. Definitely a scam I’ve blocked the number.

Said he was calling from my household insurance company, which was a lie because I am with Domestic and General. He kept trying to say it was an adjustment to my payment method. When I let on I was with Domestic & General he rudely hung up without another word. I am registered with TPS so this is a real nuisance to keep getting calls like this.

I answered this caller the second time they rang in one day. It was a guy from Liverpool who thought he was quite clever. Just sounded thick. Said he was from Anchor Solicitors. Wanted to claim something or other for me. I told him he was barking up the wrong tree, so he said he would go and bark up someone else s tree. Lol. What an idiot.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
