Keeps calling but leaves no message. When I answer they hang up straight away.
This number called my 93-year old mother-in-law at about 07:45 hrs. She told them that she couldn’t hear them. They called her back a couple of times, and tried to get her to do something on her iPad. She said she’d have to get her son-in-law to call them as she didn’t understand them. They haven’t called again since. Incident reported to local police as a vulnerable person is being targeted. This number has now been reported to BT security who have blocked it nationwide.

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. I have also pressed option 9 to be removed, doesn t seem to work. This number I think is for different companies, as each time the recorded message is different - cold calling

This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

Just annoying attempt togain control of home computer as previous poster detailed. Purported microsoft engineer calls to victims home with all information of target (address tele#) saying hacker trying to acccess your PC and then directs individual to website for downloading software whose purpose is to allow caller remote control of home PC. Oh the irony!
