Automated call - recorded message saying was from HMRC and to confirm it's me by pressing 1 otherwise a warrant would be issued and I'd be arrested soon. Ignored as HMRC wouldn't disclose any personal info without first confirming data protection and they wouldn't call on a mobile number either.

this number text me saying this is their new number and had lost contacts. They asked so send numbers of people we both knew. I stupidly thought it was my aunt Sue, and sent my mum, cousin and Nan s numbers. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! Get a very casual message using whatever name you are using on gumtree telling you youre paypal account has been hacked and to log in to change your pass.Like any sort of financial service would be running their security through a mobile.What made it more amusing for me is if they bothered seeing the third line of the ads they got my number from theyd see in large letters NO PAYPAL
