Then tried to sell me external cladding insulation. Told her to sod off and I would be reporting the call as a nuisance. She then went on to try and sell me a new gas boiler.

They are working with or on behalf of O2. They are trying to get people who have just applied for a pay and go sim to upgrade to a contract sim. It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. I ve been receiving daily calls from this number for the last 1.5 months, I tried answering at first, asking them to remove me from their database. Then I got calls with no message/answer at the other end. In the end I blocked them using my mobile phone block service, however in the last week, I ve received a number of "private number" calls, which I happen to have missed - but when checking last night noticed that they ve all come either at the same time or 1 minute later than a blocked call from 01942

I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.

Safe number. Carphone warehouse following up on an action i had taken on my phone account. Automated voice when i rang back explaining the reason for the call and that Carphone Warehouse would try and ring back at a later date.

Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).
