SCAM: I think it must be a scam number because he said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse which has since disbanded. he jumped in with another 'even better offer' before I'd even rejected the 1st offer. Fraudulent. I found him.in Google, and he done me a reservation for a flight tickets. When I asked for his company house to make sure that I am paying an active company I found out that the company is desolved on beginning on 2019. The company made the reservation based on LA, USA. He was suspicious because the ticket was much cheaper than market price.
£600 taken from my account abroad. Another scam.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". Just had this number call (Liverpool code, with non-geographical sub-code 808) - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This explains the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number.
