I answered the first time & told them they were chasing a debt that no longer collectable and that they should not call again - either to my land line or mobile. Since then (5th Oct 2014), they have called more times than I can count.
No-one spoke so unable to comment.
SPAM claiming to be from Vodafone and they are calling to offer a great deal. Don't give out any of your details.

No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

Man with a strong Asian accent called one evening claiming to be from "Lloyds Bank" asking to talk to the "account holder" and confirm security details. He was just fishing for personal details, he was completely unaware who I was and that I was not a customer of Lloyds TSB. Looking back I have had several unanswered calls both before and after from the same number still trying their luck. Claimed to be Vodafone but when I challenged them put phone down. Since then I have had 3+ calls per day which I am ignoring. Reported to Vodafone by message -no reply yet.

This company was originally using a landline number. They are now calling people from a bogus mobile number which shows up as 07463 804966. They are not legitimate and seeking additional info about you. When you call the mobile number back a recording says that the number is not recognised. Hang up or block them, but do not confirm your name or address as they ask you to do.
I was called by a stroppy Welsh woman who wouldn t shut up when I asked her where she got my number from. She came out with some rubbish about me being on a government data base that said I had a credit card - what bloody business it of hers? These people truly are the scum of the earth. cwhat is th e point of me registering with TPS if I keep getting calls from brain dead morons reading from a script. Oh well the last two words she heard from me began with F and O. She was so aggressive!!

SCAM Called saying she was wondering if I had been involved in a no fault accident. I asked if she was telling me or asking me. And if she was calling from Liverpool. She said "oh, I see" and something about removing me from their lists. Presumably I can look forward to other scammers calling about this fictitious prang over the coming months.

This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. Report and block their numbers, they don't turn up either.
