They rang me regarding a survey I had completed, as I fill in loads of surveys I believed this to be true. They said I had won a £20 fuel voucher and gave a lot of information regarding how I can spend it etc. However they then went onto talk about how I could be part of their membership, which costs £79! It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

Very rude courier. Telling me in the evening he would come to deliver the next day in the afternoon without giving any options. He said the company is called OM transport limite...
Asian person said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Had my surname and flat no/postcode. Said they can stop scammers calling - know that the TPS cannot do this with numbers that may look like UK nos but are routed from Asia. He started to ask whether I still paid by Direct Debit (TPS is free!!!) so told him I didn t want to speak to him and hung up.

This company was originally using a landline number. They are now calling people from a bogus mobile number which shows up as 07463 804966. They are not legitimate and seeking additional info about you. When you call the mobile number back a recording says that the number is not recognised. Hang up or block them, but do not confirm your name or address as they ask you to do.
Fake debt consolidation. Don't even have my real name on record and they're claiming I have debt even though I said 3 times that I don't and I think I'd know if I did.

Sounds as if it is a bank scam call as it was a recorded message warning me of suspicious transactions to companies which I hadn't used before. As you would expect from a recorded message, it didn't ask for myself or my wife in person or to try & authenticate me.

call from this number Monday 6th March at 13.50 when an automated voice said I was about to spend £700 + on an Amazon order and that they had halted the transaction pending my pressing button 1. I smelt a rat and hung up then Googled the number to find this site. I'm confident it was a hoax.

Swindon Window Centre called my number this morning and they have held my number on a recall system, so that each time I try to ring out, it automatically rings them and charges for each call. Can t delete this, so have to get on to BT.
