Information someone left a voicemail about a job i was looking at. didnt answer cause it said spam.
A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. DO NOT SAY YOU ARE THAT PERSON --- From now on, my first greeting to any caller would be questioning them. Now I may get even more spam calls by giving out that they have valid information. Cold called me to offer cheap subscription offer on Mojo magazine as I had bought one back issue. As soon as I said no this female caller dropped the call with no apology or further comment. Felt like it must have been a scam.
WHAT IS THE DISTRICT FOR THIS NUMBER
A voice from this number told me that my national insurance nunber had been cancelled and that i had been involved in illegal activity - i havent! Therefore when it also told me i was going to be arrested unless i pressed number 1 i knew it was a scam!
Caller claimed to be from AM Legal - when asked who he wanted to speak to, he hung up..presumably an accident claim company but i didn t let them get far enough to explain

Different numbers starting with 020 8894 keep calling me and when I don't pick up they never leave a message. It's a number that purports to be in Trafalgar Square, but is in fact an Indian call centre.

This seems to be a company called Barrhead Travel in Renfrewshire as checked on Company Check. There is no information person or financial information submitted to companies house. It is not a Limited Company.

Odd call from Mike at TPL . Said he was an agent looking to sell landlords. Wouldn t go in to detail; took a while and some prodding to just get that. Wouldn t explain what his company was. Quick to get off the phone after getting an email address (generic one given, of course!).
SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.

Called by this number between 8.10 & 8.40 for the past few days (27.10.20) but it cuts off when I answer. It also also doesnot take calls.
Also used a comparison site for van insurance - they have phoned three times today, the first time I answered, no one there so I am ignoring from now on. I also will not be using comparison sites either.
