Same today 3rd February at 1.40pm. Guessed it was a scam. Not nice at all to get a call like that.
Some guy, asked me how much I was paying for my telephone bill, claimed to be from Bee Online. I politely declined to tell him this information he said I was stupid and an idiot and hung up. Another stupid scam call this time prending to be from BT Indian voice and obviously with little knowledge of how broadband works
They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. SPAM. The caller asked how I was enjoying my boiler and central heating. I didn’t give her any chance to enter into a sales patter but just told her that I already had a local plumber and that any thoughts of selling me of her wares was destined for failure.
