Scam call - When I picked up nobody answered. After I said hello a few times I heard “Goodbye” and it hung up. When I called back it was an automated message telling me to hang up and delete the number. Very suspicious.

SCAM Caller obviously in a large noisy office (but could be a background sound effect) claimed to be from Amazon, to advise me that I had an outstanding order for £299 that needed payment. I hung up.
Nobody spoke when I first answered then a woman came on and then a man asking about an accident I had had the day before that wasn't my fault.
This organisation is not permitted to do what it does. The scheme that it refers to is " It will be the LA’s responsibility to make sure the criteria chosen allow them to identify eligible households. The criteria used by an LA will not be audited however Ofgem will check whether the SoI includes a section describing the methodology to be used in identifying eligible households. BEIS will review SoIs to evaluate the success of the scheme in targeting eligible households, and can provide some basic guidance

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.

This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company. SCAM - automated message claiming to be HMRC - you are a subject to a HMRC Investigation with arrest warrant being issued etc etc.. well known scam - if you call the number they will ask you to pay a nominal amount to clear the debt.. just ignore - the REAL HMRC will send you a brown envelope or send you a message via your Self Assessment portal, they will never call you cold

The automated voice claimed to be the fraud department at NHS. They called to threaten to cancel all activities due to the alleged abuse of my national insurance. Fortunately, I know it is not true because I have not been using the NHS for years.
Said they were "following up on some financial enquiries I had made, and they deal with the next stage of the process." Utter bullshit, as I ve not made any "financial enquiries"!
