I ve had that many calls from this number recently it s getting me down. The callers are MKRR a debt collection company but they have no legal right to be ringing and pestering the public. I am wary of answering my phone to any unknown numbers and thank god for caller display! They keep mithering by post as well but I ve been advised to ignore them.

Another call at a highly unsuitable time. Didn t answer but got message left which was just noise.

Claiming to be from Citizens Advice who apparently have been informed about my outstanding debt status. Is this not a gross breach of one of the 8 principles of the Data Protection Act? Scum caller, and yes i meant to write scum.

They wanted to speak about a (fictitious) car accident I was involved in. Do not answer!

Called for a company called Marriot solutions asking me about my pension, said not interested but then persisted and was rude when i told him to remove my number and not call again and still persisted and laughed and when i told him i would complain he told me to go ahead and would not give me his surname and said he did not have one, do not answer the phone, ignore it.

Repeatedly called at 2.07am, 2.09am, 2.11am ... until I am awoken, panicking, racing downstairs, heart-pounding that a caller that persistent must be family ... some appalling bad news about my kids Checked msgs - the PIN number request thing mentioned in other posts... replace the hand set - 2.15am - and the phone starts ringing again. Pulled the plug out of the wall... Anyone starting a Class Action against Lloyds, sign me up!

This number just called me, and despite entries saying this is the Microsoft scam, and other fakey company fakes, this call was from "Go Green Energy Survey", a "genuine government department" wanting to know about my energy usage and supplier. When challenged, they said it was not a survey and they were not selling anything. Then stop wasting my time, stupid call centre man with fake name! Immediately called back, hung up on them.

Very rude - sounded like the consultant was at a rave trying to get my business - well that certainly is not happening - I don t trust this scam - reported them to the police as the person who I was speaking to told me that she gets paid cash in hand.

An asian sounding lady was on phone said she is from a "company information bureau" saying they want to complete a "2 minute" survey. Number is from Bristol... They knew my name so wondering how they got my details... REFUSE THE CALL.

Exactly the same as above, Asian voice, said he was BT and following up a broadband fault and when I told him I did not have any problems he terminated the call.

Sounded automated. Car crash chaser.
