I received a text from this number suggesting that I could get a "Covid pass" from the NHS to say that I have had two vaccinations, giving the URL of a website to log on to. I don't trust it as the government has not yet decided to issue Covid passports

Telling me they had been advised I had been involved in a Motor Accident . Absolute fiction. Again I told them to remove my number from their database.
Never answered, calls me at 10.15 ish am every Monday have blocked it multiple times still manages to get through!

Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.
Asian-sounding voice asked "Good morning, how are you today?" My wife asked the caller how he got our number (we re ex-directory). Caller hung up immediately.

This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!
I didn't answer, so I called the number back and apparently it's invalid so looks dodgy to me

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Phone scams are a common way for criminals to con people out of money using various tricks to get your personal or financial information. A funny voice asked me to wait until the next HMRC agents would be available. Called today. Heavy Indian accent and lots of Indian voices in the background. Said he was calling from BT Tech dept....yeah ok like I believe that. I told him he was in for a big surprise as we had traced his number and would take matters further as he had reached an internal secure line at Essex police headquarters(he hadn t) but he hung up really QUICKLY. It s about time BT stopped selling blocks of numbers to scammer scum. If they don t then we, as genuine customers, should be able to sue BT.
