Some automated rubbish about a refund due

Calling company very pushy wanting to know my bank details, which I did not give them. Not sure what they were trying to sell.

The caller hung up after 2 rings, I called back and heard the network message "You have dialled an incorrect number..." Obviously a scam from scum losers.

It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. When are the enforcement agencies actually going to do something meaningful about it?

My parents, both in their 80 s, have been receiving calls from this number. Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. Since neither of them are in great physical form, it is extremely worrying that these nuisance calls are causing them great discomfort. What can be done about it?

Missed call from 0161-814-3677. Called it back to find out who. Was First Call Group - A telemarketing nuisance call centre. Offer PPI insurance and various other 'scammy...

If one has the time available much fun can be had by engaging with these people, keeping them chatting and feeding them lies. After which, just block the number.
