Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618147xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, accident chasers, RTA - claims of all kinds. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Contact the CrimeStoppers hotline (UK) on 0800 555 111 and let them know people are being scammed or harassed continously. The more people contact CrimeStoppers, the more chance of finding the gangs involved with this sort of thing.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Morethan keep calling me regarding pet insurance. I got a quotation from their website a couple of weeks ago, which was double everyone elses prices. Got the first call the following day, told the woman they were way too dear and that I wasn t interested. They now call at least once a day. They must be stupid or desperate for business. Do they really think I will buy overpriced insurance from them because they keep ringing me? No, I won t, they are pests.
