This Liverpool number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with insurance marketing (accident chasers), but I have found no info about company behind it, did someone answer it (without immediate hunging :) ) and spoke with some real person?

Fraud Claimed that there was a possible fraud transaction on my debit card that I needed to confirm and to dial 1 or 2 if I had or hadn’t done the transaction! FAKE (Please don’t trust this type of call... if worried always phone the number on your own debit card and talk to the fraud team that way)
Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

I have been subscribed to this for several weeks at £2.99 per week. EE managed to cancel this for me however no refund was given. I would strongly urge who all that read this ring there mobile provider and add a Charge2Account ban to there contact.
