Supposedly a company called Direct Legal, claimed to want to talk to me about compensation for an accident. A quick google search reveals they are a debt collection agency based in Buckley, even though the phone number has a Glasgow area code.
Phoned and left no message. Rang them back and no-one answered, just went dead. Annoying and likely Spam.

Called at 15:48 on 30-11-16, rang only for a few seconds and cut off before I could answer
SCAM / SPAM from gumtree trying to buy item and adding £350 for delivery and expecting me to pay it. Claiming the total including delivery will be paid into my PayPal, reported to action fraud and gumtree.
I only answered because they have called me repeatedly for over a month. A man first asked for Lucy then when I said hello again he asked for Paul. I called the number from my land line & its possibly a company called something like Turn Signal. When I asked him to repeat the name he asked for my name so I hung up.
I ve been getting regular calls from these scum. This number is now dead. Instead they re getting in via the web and it s coming up on my phone as 001036.
They said they are from the government and want to check if I am at home. I was isolating following my return after travelling abroad. I confirmed as I was isolating at home. The caller then wanted me to divulge personal details which made me suspect the call as the passenger locator form has all my details. I refused and at that point the caller threatened me and said I would be reported fro not cooperating and the threats got more, and he said I would get into trouble, at which point I hung up.

This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. POSSIBLE SCAM A female caller "Jess" said she was from Solar Energy Advice Ltd , offering reduced cost equipment in return for using it in a promotion. I asked if she had heard of the TPS, and her silence indicated she had not. I told her that unsolicited calls to a TPS registered number, without checking the TPS list, could mean a £5000 fine for her company. Then I hung up. A Google search for the company name shows NO company with that name appears to exist in the UK.
