This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.
Had a call from this number, which actually came up as 0131-772-1111, and an Asian male asked for a particular person. I gave my normal response never heard of them. I continual...

So if you bought something somewhere online that required your number chances are you inadvertently opted in. They use a network of local numbers to seem reputable. The liverpool branch specialises in road traffic accident. They ll fish about for details asking you that they were informed a car accident was reported by your household within the last 2.5-3 years. Had a Call from this number regarding Electrical system Insurance. When I said that I already had it, the female caller responded that it was with them, and because I had not claimed for three years they we going to reduce it from the current £180.00. I immediately knew it must be a scam, so I pressed the 'Block now' Button on my call Blocker.
Initially called in December about my Google ads but told them to call me back in Jan after I could assess situation. Did call back, nice polite guy but told him I did not need their services, he was disappointed but still polite! Website says based in Brighton but actually based in Pakistan.
