Sometimes the truth needs to be unveiled by whatsoever means necessary. SCAM Dangerous Number. This is related to Microsoft scam who will tell you there is an issue with your PC, gain access and then wipe out your bank accounts after locking you out of your computer. You then get further harassment calls from them trying to "give your computer back" so they can gain further access/exploit more cash from you. Key targets are older or vulnerable people. Be safe.

SCAM: Caller explained someone in Reading had created a fake Amazon account my name, & wanting to buy an iphone 12 which would cost me £700. They didn't think I had ordered it and so wanted to know if I was accepting the order or not. I said I was not giving anything out over the phone wother than I hadn't ordered the phone. He started giving instruction for me to access my laptop. He swore at me when I said I wasn't going to help and he hung up

This is a Visa fraud scam. They tell you there has been unusual activity on you card from a betting company in the USA and to press 1 to talk to the fraud team. AVOID !!!!

Rang my elderly mother telling her her bank account had money taken from it, luckily my mother is on high alert with this kind of calls.
