Marketing calls from this company on behalf of Scottish Power. My elderly Dad answered(as its his account) and because he has trouble on the phone I took over for him. The guy on the other end went silent and wouldn t respond to me. I told him ; "I know you re still on the line, I ve just heard you talking". He hung up. I redialled and selected #1 on their ARU but having read the other comments on here, I m expecting further calls...
A glasgow number calling a glasgow number. Indian caller saying he was from Open Reach. Trying to get me to install software to help with errors that were supposedly coming from my computer. Could tell it was scripted and after laughing at some of the terms he was using he hung up. I so wanted to play with him.
SCAM, this number is a HMRC scam. Person told me I owed over £3856.19 to HMRC and I needed a Solicitor to represent me in the High Court. After I strung the Scammer along for a few minutes I told him he was a HMRC scam and he put the phone down immediately. Do not be taken in by there dreadful, awful people
SCAM / SPAM Threatened legal action if i do not return the call. I called back, gave a man with what seemed like an american accent, I gave my name and it was when he asked for my NI number that i got suspicious. I challenged him and he hang-up
Company keeps calling me and several friends. They are a soap company on the lookout for new customers. I used to have a shop so they have got my number from that and now keep phoning. Offers change depending who you talk to. Get quite stroppy when you show no interest. No really does mean no!
Safe number
Fraud Text Came through from HSBC telling me a payment had been attempted from a new device and if it was not me follow the link. When I followed the link it wanted user names, pin codes etc, very convincing.......if only I had any HSBC accounts.!
