Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14136721xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident chasers, PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

A call came through from this number this morning. An Asian sounding man asked to speak to me by name stating he was calling from Credit Investigation Services with a view of making a payment plan to reduce my unsecured debt of ?17000. I explained that I had no unsecured debt and that as I was signed up to the telephone preference service, he should not be making unsolicited calls to me. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Do not call them back whoever it is - you will pay for it. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?)... Did someone answer any number of this range or this one? Maybe this is some good number, but left no message, no way I would call back...
