Called about 07.30 today, saying from talk talk. In my best schoolboy French, I answered "tum ek jhooth bol rahe ho".(Pronounced tum eck jooth bowl rahay ho) He obviously understood Hindi because he mumbled something and hung up.
Didn't answer but was left a voicemail of non-english speakers in what sounded like busy call centre. Probably marketing or scam.

Each time we tell them not to call again and that we are registered with TPS and each time they tell us its the first time they have called then say they just have 4 questions they need answering, get very pushy and agrumentative then hang up

I ve received two phone calls from the following number - 01427 610075 concerning the router on my computer. They had my personal details and confirmed my name and address. They said I would be entitled to a ?20 refund and the government was about to fine them if they didn t correct people s computers. When they started to talk about money I became suspicious. I put the phone down, dialled 1471 and their number is no accessible. I phoned Talktalk and was told this is a scam albeit a very plausible one. Bewa

SCAM Automated message purporting to be from HMRC claims you have a tax fraud complaint raised against you and if you do not immediately press 1 then the police will raise an arrest warrant in your name today. Was pretty scary for an automated message even knowing its a scam, the threat of arrest was very convincing.
