SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

Call received from this number today, 27 February 2023 @ 10:16. I did not answer, but they left a message, which I felt was an attempt to trick me into responding in order to avoid paying unlawful requests for several hundred pounds. I believe this to be a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon.
An automated voice said - You are wanted for unpaid taxes & if you you want to avoid possible jail time press, "1" on your keypad. This is H.M.R.C., (claim to be Tax Office). I didn't press 1, (scared it was a scam)! I'm going to phone them & hope to find out who they are.

Scam caller, claiming to be Lloyds Bank and that my debit card had been used suspiciously. Just hang up! Especially, also do NOT confirm ANYTHING about yourself.

SCAM called from 02035247544 first trying to get us to press the windows key on the computer and run a diagnostic, strung him along for a bit and then hung up. He called back on this number asking why we hung up on him, he sounded indian and the line was very bad. Told him I was with the TPS and we knew it was dodgy and hung up and blocked the number
I had this call yesterday and told them I am not interested in a smart meter. He wanted me to confirm my name and address . They said I won't be contacted anymore. They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.
