Called this morning, automated message saying my amazon prime account was due for renewal, very hard to believe as I don't have a amazon prime account. I hung up before the end of the message.
msg: "hey mum ive smashed my phone please message me on this number 447907043484 urgently x im texting of a friends phone" the problem is im not a mom and dont have children its same message as previous ones avery 2 weeks or so just the number changes

I was called by this number 09:34 on 03 July 2023. It was an autodialer with an American accent telling me I had returned an HMRC envelope and now further action would be taken if..... I got a text message from Halifax saying a Mr Abdul Khan has successfully set up as a new payee on 2/05 if this was not you please call us on 01143600424 ref ST20F07 it’s a scam I phoned my bank immediately they have put a note on my account as a safety measure …Do Not ring phone your bank hope that helps .

This was a very frightning scam call, saying that amounts of something like £300 and £1100 had been debited to my card - they didn't say which - and to ring a certain number etc etc Dangerous and number now blocked.
The usual call from the electricity and gas department of who knows where Told him I wasn’t interested and put phone down. He called me straight back. Rude scammers

Found that number on my bill of august 2022. As if I called it for 4 seconds. No idea on how it got there and couldn't be on purpose as I don't have any connection with UK nor any reason to call that UK number for 4 seconds.

SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person

Phoned me claiming to be 92 and wouldn’t tell me who they were looking for and tried to tell me that I was with a network that I wasn’t with, they also transferred me to two other people who also couldn’t tell me my name!
Usual Amazon telling me I owed just over £90 etc.
Claimed to be from Vodafone. However Vodafone don't have this number listed on their Website as an official number. I'd suggest hanging up.
