This is a scam call, with a recorded message supposedly from Amazon about a queried transaction.

SCAM They called claiming to be from o2 and could reduce my bill, i got sent 2 text messages one with a code which they asked for .I hung up and they called back, i told them i was google searching the number and they hung up. O2 says it was not them

This has been happening for years to me different number everytime and they'll agree with anything I say. Lately they've tried to be National Grid, they're desperate for my meter readings. Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Called my mobile while I was driving. Although I have hands-free I did not answer because it was an unrecognised number. Once home I looked it up on several sites; on other sites other people have left reports of a scam, fake calls purporting to be Virgin Media etc. I have blocked the number.
Another 'service' calling about my unresolved landlord repair. I returned their call to ask they remove my number. As I am a Housing Rights Worker for Shelter, I am well aware of how to get repairs actioned. They went silent when I explained this. Don't use their scam 'services'- they are available elsewhere for free.

This was a very frightning scam call, saying that amounts of something like £300 and £1100 had been debited to my card - they didn't say which - and to ring a certain number etc etc Dangerous and number now blocked.

SCAM. This number called at 13:00 hrs today and did not leave a message. I don't know anyone in the callers area and anyone who can't be bothered to leave a message having paid to make a call is probably up to no good. Therfore I believe this is a scam number??

Received 3 calls this week (13th. - 17th. March) on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Female caller asked to speak to someone not at this address, claiming to be from Virgin Media. Very difficult to understand, possibly East Asian.
