01444391286 is a scammer number trying to scam on basis of latest mobile phone
Says they were BT but due to a heavy Indian accent I couldn't understand what he was saying. Have had people claiming to be BT contacting me before claiming there was an issue with my computer, why BT would contact me about my computer which has nothing to do with them caused alarm bells to ring. Not sure if this was one of these calls but be wary if answer, don't let them have control of your computer for whatever reason they give.
A young man, purporting to be from a home insulation firm, said he was calling those in my postcode area to discuss insulation. When I demanded that he tell me the post code he politely rang off. Very dodgy, in my view

Had the same calls about my credit card being used inappropriately from random mobile numbers, this time it appeared to be from a landline 02074858307.

Unable to answer the original call a voice message was left to call this number back. The voice message did not state the company involved but required an anti-fraud check. This was a 'genuine' number, but the questions were probing and having given my contact number after questions to verify myself I was asked for the last 4 digits of that contact number already given, there were too many disconnected questions that could be joined up for other fraud. I terminated the call. Supposedly Barclaycard.

This number was pretending to beba BT call. It was a nuisance call from a foreign person. As in Asia resident. This person is a hacker. A mind game player, and should not have the right to phone people with the intention of bullying or playing mind games. It is a dangerous call.

Plus theyve rung me 3 times this week. If you press 1 theyll ask for your bank details to 'ensure you DONT get charged' but theyll empty your account instead. DON'T GET CAUGHT OUT

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Possible life Insurance scam, someone called me about life insurance and that terms had changed and i should move my policy to one of their others as i may not get any payout at the end of policy,they knew insurance provider, name d.o.b address,,this may well be real but i was not taking a chance as they sounded asian ( Sorry if this offends but most scammers seem to be asian etc,) ended call and blocked number, im sure my insurance company woud send me a letter advising me anyway.
