Received a call today, (didn t pick up as unknown to me) checked here, won t be answering when they call back!

Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....

A call stating they were from the Citizens Advice regarding debts and then thankfully call got cut off as I kept asking why they were calling!!!

This number called twice. I answered both times but no-one spoke. As the no. didn t correspond to any in my address book, I checked it out with you. Will now block number but concerned as to how they got my number in the first place, and hope they are not able to access my contact details in the phone.

They called at 13.58 on Friday 12th June, 2020. A Fllipino sounding young man. Asked me questions about mortgage and life insurance. He was polite, and reassured me that he wasn't selling anything. The survey lasted only about 90 seconds. Probably he will pass my data to some marketing firm and they will then perhaps try to sell me something, which of course I'll refuse. I don't normally speak with cold callers like this, when the start of the call shows they're in a call centre in Cebu or somewhere. He go

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

I ve had this number call me twice within a few hours. I just let my answerphone take it. Same with all nuisance phone calls. If I recognise the voice, then I answer.

Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious.
