Received a call from this 020 37270486, there was an automated message stating that the call is from HMRC and there was a fraud case linked to my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an advisor I’d immediately go to jail. I then got connected to an advisor with non british accent that asked me my name, I was busy looking the number up online so told the person to hold the line and he hung up immediately. Scam, left a voicemail saying if I need to press one to get connected to hmrc because I have tax fraud in my name and if I don't ASAP I'll have a warrant out for my arrest. This isn't something hmrc threaten you with over voicemail.
Fraud Left a voicemail saying it's HMRC about a lawsuit, to call them back or have my soliciter get in touch or prepair to face the consequesnces. Blatently using a chopped-together recording. HMRC would always try to contact by post, not phone.
