Had a missed call from this number, 01224573601, and they left a message. Seemed to be requesting help with a failed transaction, asking for further help with his payment. Unsure if it was genuine or spam.

Scam call claiming that I had been in an accident. Refused to confirm their identity. Have blocked the number and reported the call to the ICO.
I ve been getting regular calls from these scum. This number is now dead. Instead they re getting in via the web and it s coming up on my phone as 001036.

SCAM Call starts with an automated message telling you that there is an arrest warrant out for you for underpaid tax and tax fraud. Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!

To everyone that has lost money to these scammers I would ask you to get in touch with your local Trading Standards Officer, then apply to the Small Claims Court (it only costs £25.00 Online, which will be refunded to you.) If everyone does this hopefully Target Media Solutions will be put out of business and cannot con anyone else.

SCAM Received a text from this number supposedly from Sky. It stated they were unable to take my payment this month and my services will be stopped. It even provided a link to update my details. I haven’t had Sky since 2007 so I hope they haven’t been able to take a payment! :D Don’t click on the link, it’s not Sky; it’s a scam looking to get your bank details.

I was called by someone as part of a recruiting agency. Please be aware that companies employ call centres to make calls on their behalf. These are people who are being paid to call on behalf of other companies. If you received a call from here saying you re a claimant of some kind it means that department has been fed bad data. Please don t be horrible to the people on the other end of the phone. At least they have a job instead of being paid by benefits.

The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). If you receive a cold call from an organisation you don t know, just take as many details as you can, even if it s just the number and time of call and report it the Information Commissioner s Office (ICO) via this link https://ico.org.uk/concerns/ If enough people do this these companies will be fined - sometime pushing them out of business - and we can all enjoy owning a private phone again.
