SCAM I'm a Spanish resident living in Spain. I got several calls from this and another related number. A woman with Asian accent speaking not very good English claiming to be calling from Microsoft (first in California, then in the UK) told me there was a security issue in my computer and I needed to turn it on to follow her instructions. She passed the phone to a native English speaker when I said I couldn't understand. None of them sounded very professional at all and, in fact, the man insulted me.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Direct Business Solutions (DBS). Called several times but don t seem to know about previous calls they have made. Perfectly polite but it s another sales call. Trying to get the best deal etc etc. Told them I wouldn t be using a broker once contract end with supplier but didn t stop them trying. Quite annoying. Have now blocked their number.

Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!
