Said he was from O2 offering discounts or additional services for being a loyal customer, seemed polite enough, not incredibly pushy, had my name as well as seemingly some idea of my data usage. Similar experience to people reporting calls from 02089574446 Rude woman, poor English, claimed to be from Currys PC World, asked what mobile phone network I was on. Me: "I'm not prepared to tell you that" Her: "Why? We might have beneficial offers" Me: "Because I didn't ask you to call me and you're asking me questions without telling me anything" Her: "Yeah" Me: "What do you mean, yeah?" Her - Hung up.

SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.

Fraud SCAM . Have this number blocked but they still attempt calls. Absolutely fed up with these scammers. They won't admit who or what they are when questioned and are content to spoof their number and attempt scams. Do not speak to these crooks.

A 'heads-up' for yet another scam. Today so far we have had three calls on our land line, apparently from "banking security", an electronic type message as such, saying we have pending a £300 payment to Amazon and a £1100 international funds transfer, press 1 to pay or press 2 to cancel.

SCAM pretends to be from natwest, tell them, you will call natwest yourself.
This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.

Called today @ 13:05 hrs. I have a call blocker on my landline set to 'announce'. This seems to work for all of these low life scammers. They do not introduce themselves to be put through. Telephone does not even ring. My suggestion is to get 'Call Guardian'

Text from this number claims to be from Barclays saying a payment was set up to someone. It included a link, which I didn't use, as I don't bank with Barclays. Obviously a scam.

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.
