From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.

I never answer a number i dont recognise but thankful for google to find out it must be a cold call. Got quite a few of them lately.

If you call me - please have the courtesy to leave me a message saying who it is - unless you are trying to sell me something, ask about my non-existent traffic accident or PPI....

Having called previously, from a similar number, 07500444549, to try to gain access to my computer, they tried this one, Scammers!!!

Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. What! I told him I was an IT Consultant (truth) and he started telling me what to do. Several times I told him he was a scammer but he completely ignored me. This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. Same story. About a road accident I had but caller was from Liverpool and they used an 01462 area code. Trying to get me to claim for unnecessary whip lash etc, I suspect. Blocked.

It is a spam number form Addison James Surveyors who are trying to get your business details for unknown reason but who are very rude when you try to get them to confirm any of their details.

They told me I had won ?5000 cheque for my case against bank for ppi on loan I took out few years ago, I had to pay ?250 ucash cheque to a guy who would come to my house first then I d get ?5000, I got cut off when I tried to ring back cust serv no she gave me ?? :/
