Called my mother saying she had problems with the TV. Then proceeded to try and install quick connect to her phone. Fortunately they couldn't connect.

This number just called me and knew my mobile number and email address. They asked if I had authorised 7 more computers on my home network. I said I had not and the person on the line said it would be okay but we must act quickly and run through some network checks. When I said I was on an Apple device (Macbook) he immediately hung up as these devices are less vulnerable. I recommend you immediately mention you have an apple device as any legitimate company would not terminate a call based on this inform

The call was in perfect Croatian. They said that I gave to them my name and telephone number when I wisited their web-site. I never leave my name and phone number on web and to people I don't know.
This call centre calls with many different surveys (mostly lifestyle survey), sometimes reported with National Survey company. In most cases unsolicited call, just ask them to be removed from their list if not interested.
