I keep getting recorded calls asking if I want energy efficient replacement windows under a government scheme. At the end of the message there is an option to press a single digit number on your phone (I think 7) to be taken off the calling list. Having tried this a number of times but still receiving the calls I pressed number 5 to select a call back. Few days laterI had the call back from 01202080040. Just rung me american female voice telling me that my BT broadband line will be cancelled immediately as it has been compromised from California - at that point I hung up - we are ex directory, registered with Telephone Preference Service and we do not get our broadband from BT either!
