When I told the guy to bugger off (which isn t good, I know but I was very frustrated) he replied with a torrent of abuse.

Automated call Ostensibly from BT, saying suspicious (or similar!) activity on my phone and internet, so will be closing them down. Press 1 ........ etc ! This is the second scamming call within a few minutes, but the other was from a mobile pretending to be from Amazon. The scammers are really active today!

Foreign speaking lady said was phoning from virgin stating I have problems with my router on the computer I asked her for my account number to prove she was legit.Oblivious that she wasn't as she got the so called supervisor a man so he said that if I did something on computer he will give me a security code ha ha not falling for that one ! .he said he was calling from London as I challenged him. Missed call - have called me three of four times today and have hung up before I can get to phone. Read somewhere that this dialling code doesn't exist and if someone is calling from this number, it's likely spoofed.
