I missed 8 calls from this number in the space of 10 mins! When I spotted the missed calls I called back(no voicemail messages had been recorded) I had assumed it was very urgent owing to the persistence of the caller - the number is not recognised. Updated: just picked up a call - it seems I d had an accident, couldn t help but play along .... after a while I added that I was a police officer (which I m not!) and the line went dead - how odd.

Answered 'phone immediately, but seller hung up. Not a clue who it was, or what it was about-I assume an automated random dialing that dropped the call, and should be reported as such. The other reports have left no comment, so I presume they had the same 'silent' treatment.
Got an automated call showing this number. The computer generated voice stated that my bank account and NI number had been hacked, and that i had not responded to any requests to contact me. It then threatened that i could be arrested, and to avoid that, to press 1 now.
Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. All subsequent attempts to refusal again have failed. .

SCAM A recorded woman's voice telling me that my internet service provider, (not named), would be cutting my service off, due to unspecified "illegal activity". I didn't listen to the whole message and I blocked the number.

Scam calls usually related to Crypto. They generate new fake spoofed numbers (including this one), and call from UK, China, and other random countries. Previous owner of my phone number must have signed up on their website for information, but they have been calling me for over a year despite me saying its not the right person.
SCAM - Phoned me up to tell me they were calling from the 'Carphone Warehouse Company' to offer me a deal on a new iPhone 12 Pro contract. The line was bad and so they said they would phone me back on a different number (0203543245) which I then blocked when they tried to phone me.

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.
